Rings of Minor Metamagic

Ornate rings with tiny engravings housing a small gemstone that glisten faintly when worn.

Any number of these rings can be attuned as one item. While attuned, they can provide various effects when the user casts a cantrip:

Careful The band of this ring is engraved with a dragon’s head spewing fire, which parts about either side of a small sapphire When you cast a cantrip that forces other creatures to make a saving throw, choose up to 5 creatures. A chosen creature automatically succeeds on its saving throw against the spell. Constant
Distant Engraved with the visage of a dragon’s profile, this ring features a small topaz fashioned as the dragon’s eye When you cast a cantrip that has a range of 5 feet or greater, double the range of the spell. When you cast a cantrip that has a range of touch, the range of the spell becomes 30 feet. Once per short rest
Empowered A small ruby is set into an engraving of a dragon’s maw, clenching teeth around the gem. When you roll damage for a cantrip, you may reroll any number of dice once. You must use the new rolls. Once per short rest
Extended A double-ended dragon’s tail meets at one end of the ring, coiling about a small citrine, When you cast a cantrip that has a duration of 1 minute or longer, double its duration. Constant
Heightened Engraved with a dragon’s snout another engraving of a long forked tongue protrudes from the small game inlaid where the two meet. When you cast a cantrip that forces a creature to make a saving throw to resist its effects, you may give one target of the spell disadvantage on its first saving throw made against the spell. Quickened A pair of engraved dragon’s claws clutch an opal overlaid with by the band to resemble an hourglass. When you cast a cantrip that has a casting time of 1 action, you may change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting. Once per long rest
Subtle A small onyx gem is recessed inside the coiled dragon’s tail engraved into this ring’s band When you cast a cantrip, cast it without any somatic or verbal components. Constant
Twinned Twin dragons are engraved upon this ring. Where their claws meet in a clash there is set a small amethyst. When you cast a cantrip that targets only one creature and doesn’t have a range of self, you may target a second creature in range with the same spell. To be eligible, a spell must be incapable of targeting more than one creature at the spell’s current level. Constant
